In October 2024, MTAA delivered its inaugural RegConnect24, the first full day conference dedicated exclusively to Australia’s MedTech regulatory community. Presented in collaboration with the TGA, the event brought together regulators and industry to unpack key reforms and emerging challenges. The program featured focused discussions on regulatory reform, international alignment, software and AI regulation, audit frameworks and approval timelines, digital transformation, real world evidence, and UDI, providing practical insights for sponsors and manufacturers navigating an evolving regulatory landscape.
